The 59-year-old lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly Tunde Braimoh who died in the early hours of Friday has been buried according to Islamic rite.
His remains was laid to rest on Friday afternoon at Ikoyi cemetery in Lagos.

He died less than a month after the death of another lawmaker from Kosofe, the late Senator Bayo Osinowo.
The late Braimoh until his demise was the House Committee Chairman on Information, Security and Strategy. He was also chairman of Kosofe Local Government before he was elected to the state assembly.
One of his colleagues, the Chairman, House Committee on Health, Hakeem Sokunle hinted that the late Braimoh died of COVID-19 and that he might have contracted it from late Senator Osinowo, his close confidant.
The chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Tunde Balogun, also expressed shock over the death of the lawmaker, describing it as a great loss to the part, his family, Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
