Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and some governors have commenced the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting.
The meeting being held at the Presidential Villa started around 11.10 am with Governors of Katsina, Sokoto, Ogun, Kebbi and some Deputy Governors in attendance.
Also in attendance are top government functionaries including the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, the GMD of the NNPC, Maikanti Baru among others.
At the end of the meeting, the State House Reporters would be briefed on the outcome.
Recall that the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) on Wednesday night met in Abuja to discuss the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) deadlock, minimum wage, among others.
