World football governing body, FIFA has congratulated Super Eagles star striker, Victor Osimhen on the completion of his transfer to the Italian side, Napoli.
The striker completed the move to Naples in a deal reported to be worth €50m, about £45m which makes him one of the most expensive African players.

The Federation of International Football Association, FIFA shared a post to congratulate the former Wolfsburg forward for achieving success and climbing up the lather of growth in the past few years.
Osimhen, who was Lille’s top scorer last season, bagged 18 goals in 32 games in his debut campaign in Ligue 1 and was named the club’s Player of The Year and also won the Marc-Vivien Foe Award for the best African player in France.
He will wear the respected No.9 jersey at the two-time Italian champions next season.
“We are very happy at Osimhen’s arrival. The young man has been enchanted by Partenope. He will wear the No.9 jersey,”Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli president, said on Radio Kiss Kiss.
The player himself is hoping to deliver the goods in the highly technical and demanding Serie A as he charts a new career course as Africa’s most expensive footballer ever.
“The next chapter @Napoli is a very exciting one and I can’t wait to get on the pitch with the team. I want to thank the fans for the past few weeks. I will definitely give my all on the pitch for the common good of the club,” Osimhen tweeted on Friday.
