Leaders of the Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA) have extended hands of fellowship to South West leaders of the PDP in the aftermath of what befell them during the party’s national convention.
APDA leaders stated that they were ready to provide sanctuary for aggrieved PDP leaders ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The argument was that the South West had lost out at the PDP’s convention where it wanted to fill the national chairmanship slot.
In a text message yesterday, APDA’s National Publicity Secretary, Tosin Adeyanju, said the PDP had become a regional party following the outcome of the convention.
“We call on South West leaders to join APDA as PDP has been reduced to a regional party with the outcome of this election,” he said.
He assured that anyone who defected to APDA would never regret his or her action.
