“Yoruba will not regret electing Buhari”

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Chief Bode Mustapha, has responded to the claim made by the chairman of the defunct presidential advisory committee on national conference Femi Okunrounmu that the Yoruba would regret voting for President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Not even Okunrounmu’s ward in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State would regret voting massively for the ruling party, talk less of Ogun State and the entire Yoruba nation,” he said.
Mustapha, who was responding to Okunrounmu’s claim published in a national daily, last week, described the leading member of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, adding: “He is an inconsistent, self-seeking and selfish politician, whose antecedent at his homestead further nailed the PDP coffin in Ogun during the last general elections.
“The question is which credibility does he have to say Yoruba will regret voting President Buhari? When already his primary constituency at Abeokuta South is lamenting his alleged role in the Jonathan saga.”
