Yebu community worries over non-usage of clinic after completion

Spokesman of the community, Mr. Samson Sarki, who spoke with our reporter, said the clinic was built and completed under the administration of the late chairman of the council, Mr. Samuel Gwamna, and was yet to be commissioned for usage.
He said the mini-clinic attached with the new one has been the one patients have been going to for medical treatment.
He also said the ceiling of the new clinic has been pulled off by reptiles because it was abandoned.
“Since this clinic was built over five years under the administration of the late chairman of Kwali, Samuel Gwamna, it has remain closed while reptiles have destroyed some parts of the ceiling and some of the woodwork is covered with cobwebs,’’ he said.
He said medical officers attached to the clinic have always been on ground attending to patients, but wondered why the council failed to open the new clinic since it was completed five years ago.
Our reporter was unable to gain access into the new clinic as it was under lock and key. He however noticed that part of its roofing was blown off.
