The MatchDay 20 fixtures also produced home victories for Kano Pillars, Nasarawa United, FC IOfeanyiUbah, Warri Wolves and Plateau United who pipped stubborn Dakadda FC of Uyo 2-0 to reclaim the top spot following Lobi Stars scandalous loss in Bauchi.

FC IfeanyiUbah got back their pound of flesh in a 3-1 win over Sunshine Stars in Nnewi but Kwara United were held to 1-1 draw by Rivers United in Ilorin.
Akwa United emerged as the best team of the weekend following their hard earned 2-1 victory over Enugu Rangers at the ‘Cathedral’.
