What Buhari’s re-election means to us – APC govs

Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje yesterday described the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari as victory for Nigerian democracy.

In a congratulatory message which he signed, Ganduje said Buhari’s re-election was the will of the people who were supporting his administration’s change agenda that had brought about transformation in all facets development in the country.

Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong congratulated Buhari, saying his re-elections would usher in a prosperous Nigeria that would be a country of destination in the comity of nations.

In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mark Longyen, Lalong said the victory was not only well-deserved but long expected and God-ordained. He added: “Your re-election is no doubt, an eloquent statement of the people’s approval of your anti-corruption and anti-insurgency war.”

Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki said: “This four years of President Buhari’s leadership will provide the much-desired impetus for good governance, the ongoing war on corruption, completion of ongoing infrastructural projects and boost our new image in the comity of nations.”

Bauchi State Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, in a statement by his spokesman, Abubakar Al-Sadique, described Buhari’s re-election as a vote of confidence on him.

Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi, in a statement by his spokesman, Bolaji Tunji, described Buhari’s re-election as a referendum in support of integrity, good governance and the fight against corruption.
