We won’t betray confidence reposed in us – Senator Wamakko

The northwest coordinator of the APC presidential campaign council, Aliyu Magatakarda, has lauded voters for renewing confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari and all APC flagbearers in the just concluded elections.

“President Muhammadu Buhari and all of us elected under the platform of the party, as well as all the Governors and State Assemblymen to be elected, In Sha Allahu, will not betray the confidence already reposed in us,” he declared.


He was speaking  when he received APC supporters from Yabo Local Government area of the state, led by a party Chieftain, Professor Musa Garba Maitafsir and Member of the House of Representatives -elect, Yabo and Shagari Federal Constituency, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Danbukari.

Senator Wamakko who was re-elected for Sokoto North Senatorial zone, said:” We at the 9th Senate would in Sha Allahu, do everything humanly possible to support the President in his dogged determination to Improve the security of lives and property, bolster the economy and roundly curb the menace of killer- corruption.”

He appealed to the people of the state to massively cast their votes for APC candidates across the state.” By doing so, the state will be rightly and urgently brought back on the path of growths and development, like what obtained, hitherto, between 2007 and 2015.”

Senator Wamakko noted:” Regrettably, the people of the state have been wallowing in abject underdevelopment and paucity of dividends of democracy, from 2015 to date.”

He said:” This obnoxious deficit of developmental projects and people -oriented welfare schemes can only be sincerely redressed with the election of the APC gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto and his running mate, Alhaji Faruk Malami Yabo, as well as State House of Assembly Candidates of the party.”
