The Kaduna State government has paid June 2018 salaries, the Senior Special Assistant to the Kaduna State Governor (Media) Samuel Aruwan, has confirmed.
Kaduna State was earlier listed among those that had not paid June 2018 salaries.
Our correspondent confirmed that at the time some of the workers said they were yet to receive their June salaries, the state government had released the money and may have been delayed due to bank processes. Aruwan said the state government had been consistent in paying salaries, noting that most of its employees usually received their credit alerts around the 25th or before the last day of the month.
He said the government placed premium on its workforce as a vehicle of quality public service delivery and execution of policies aimed at achieving coherent development.
