He said, the  conference  is  organized  to  celebrate  effective  activism  and  underscore  the inestimable  value  of  citizens-State  engagement  in  enhancing  the  quality  of  democratic politics  in  Nigeria.

“About 300 leaders  from  political,  civil  societies,  academia,  women, entrepreneurs,  people  with  disability  and  media  converged to shape  an  agenda  for democracy,  governance  and  political  representation  in  the  pre  and  post  2019  era.”

During his presentation, Comrade Bello amplified what Comrade Bankole Wellington (BankyW) noted recently on the challenges facing youth inclusiveness.

“They said we don’t have the money to run. We say our strength lies in our numbers. They said we don’t have the structure, we say we will attempt to build it. They said “what if you lose”? I say, what if we win?” was his remarks.
