A Muslim cleric and Khalifatul Qadariyyah in FCT, Alhaji Abdulrauf Abdulhameed Oloriomokewu, has urged Muslims to use the period of Ramadan to perfect other pillars of Islam.
He gave the advice in Abuja at the 14th Annual Ramadan Lecture organised by The Right Path Prayer Group in Abuja, themed: “Islam: A Synergy of Spiritual, Moral and Humanity”.
According to him, all the five pillars upon which Islam relies and rests serve as an umbrella of spiritual, moral ad humanity.
He said that knowing Islam as Muhammadanism especially in the western world, a name in imitation of such like Christianity and Buddhism among others is wrong.
He enumerated the importance of upholding the five pillars of Islam and acting in accordance with the dictates of Islam as practiced by Prophet Muhammad.
He said, “This is humanity, moral and spirituality interwoven to faith in Allah and carrying out good deeds so as to making the life and hereafter a pleasant and blessed one.”
