‘Unilorin Sporting Complex will remain relevant after WAUG’

In an interview with Trustsports, Prof. Olorunfemi disclosed that the University has taken sports as serious business and will do that is possible to ensure that the stadium continue to be relevant to Nigerian athletes and their foreign counterparts.

The Professor of Geography said Unilorin has all it takes to be a factory for the production of future champions for the nation, considering the level of facility that the university administration has put in place.

Olorunfemi called for the full implementation of the policy of the school, which demands that every Wednesday’s evening be devoted to sports, in order to achieve the vision of not only hosting a successful tournament, but wining it.

He advised students of the school to take sports seriously, saying the administration is doing its best to restructure sports in the school.
