Trespassers taking over our land, Sharia Court cries out

The Kano State Sharia Court has expressed dismay on how its land is being taken over by certain individuals for personal use.

The spokesman of the court, Barrister Yusuf Audu Gulami, in a statement, said the court would not hold back from taking legal actions against trespassers encroaching on its lands at Gwarzo, Kafin Maiyaki, Gaya and other places.

“Any person caught encroaching our courts’ land will definitely face the wrath of law”, he said, adding that the Grand Khadi of the court in the state, Dr. Tijjani Yusuf  Yakassai, had called on all the judges of the court to keep vigil in their respective domains to stop the trespassers from encroaching their lands.
