Saraki berates FG over turning down Kwankwaso’s Eagle Square request

Senate President Bukola Saraki has berated the federal Government over the refusal of former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso request to use the Eagle Square for his official declaration to run for the office of the president.

The senate President stated this earlier today on his twitter handle, noted that,”The refusal to allow Senator Kwankwaso’s campaign to utilize Eagle Square for his declaration, despite an earlier approval, sends a wrong message about our democracy, particularly the tolerance level in our politics.

“Eagle Square belongs to all Nigerians”.

Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso had earlier requested to use the Eagle Square where he was expected to officially declare for the presidency but was turned after meeting the requirements and initially granted permission to use the facility.
