A 37-year-old man, Jude Aghado, was yesterday docked before an Ikeja magistrate court, Lagos, for allegedly stealing a sum of N1.2 million belonging to the complainant, 3C HUB Brand Management Company.

Aghado was alleged to have committed the offence on October 29, 2019, at about 12pm, at No. 5, Awolowo Way, Ikeja.

The police prosecutor, Inspector P. A. Adegoke, told the court that Aghado converted the company’s money to his personal use, and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

According to Adegoke, the defendant had written in his statement that he decided to take from the company’s sales money because he was in need of money.
