Croatia have beaten England 2-1 to reach the FIFA World Cup final for the first time in their history.
Kieran Trippier converted from a free-kick in the 5th minute to hand England a dream start to the contest.
However, Ivan Perisic levelled proceedings in the 68th minute. The forward made a late run to meet Sime Vrsaljko’s cross before he stuck his foot out ahead of Kyle Walker to steer his effort into bottom corner.
There was nothing to separate the two sides at full time and the match proceeded into the extra time.
But the tiny country wrapped the match up in the 109th minute when Mario Mandzukick drifted in behind John Stones before he slots his strike beyond the reach of Jordan Pickford.
Croatia will now meet France on Sunday in the final.
