An industrialist and frontline APC governorship aspirant in Rivers State, Arch. Tonye Dele Cole, has received the royal blessing of a prominent Kalabari traditional ruler, Professor T.J.T. Princewill, ahead of the 2019 governorship election in the state.
Tonye Cole, the Managing Director of Sahara Energy, was in Buguma and Abonnema, his community to seek the support of his kinsmen on his 2019 governorship bid in the state.
Professor Princewill said the Kalabari ethnic nationality was waiting for an opportunity for any of their kinsmen to occupy prominent political position in the state.
He said, “What I have been praying for is the unity of the Kalabari people. I don’t have any doubt that the mountain will be surmounted.”
Earlier Tonye Cole called on the people of the area to unite so as to stand strong during the 2019 elections.
