Reps move to empower small businesses

The House of Representatives Committee on Banking and Currency said the Factoring (Assignment and Receivables) Bill is aimed at empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with increased funding to boost exports and drive the economy. Chairman of the Committee, Jones Onyereri (PDP, Imo) stated this yesterday while declaring open a public hearing on the bill “to promote the availability of credit for MSMEs and facilitate domestic and international trade.”
