President Muhammadu Buhari has pledge to fight corruption unrelentingly until all the facets of government in the country are cleansed and to make a new dawn for the economy of Nigeria in halting the scourge of corruption.
He stated this today when declaring open a summit on Anti-Corruption themed “Performance Based Governance: Transparency, Accountability and Social Value” at the banquet hall of the Adamawa State Government House.
He added that Adamawa State government is the least he thought will demonstrate a fearlessly, physical responsibility, accountability and strategic good governance and services in transforming the state.
“The Adamawa state governments the least state I thought will demonstrate a fearlessly, physical responsibility, accountability and strategic goods and services to transform the state and earn the confidence of the people it has proved that it is fighting corruption”. He stated.
Earlier speaking, Lamido Adamawa has appeal to the President for conversion of the Modibbo Adamawa University of Technology (MAUTECH) into a conventional university also to convert the Federal Medical Center (FMC), into a Teaching Hospital in the state and the President has promised to look through the matter.
Buhari said team work and cordial relationship between the executive and legistlature, respect and compliance, the institutional report to improve efficiencies, drive to achieve venue for many and to demonstrate by administration in Bindow’s governance is widely known.
He called on other governors to emulate Bindow’s governance and the general public to continue to give support for Bindow.
