The police in Gwarinpa have recovered a vehicle suspected to have been stolen in Katampe Extension.
Police sources said some hoodlums had abandoned the vehicle and fled when they saw police officers at about 3am on Sunday.
The source said the owner is yet to claim the vehicle.
The Gwarinpa Divisional Police Officer, CSP Nuruddeen Sabo, confirmed the incident.
He said the vehicle, a 1996 Hyundai car with registration number AR 446 LKJ was in police custody.
“The oxblood coloured vehicle was recovered at Oando petrol station by Katampe Extension along the Kubwa expressway on Saturday,” he said.
He said a food flask was also found in the car and urged the owner of the car to come to the station with sufficient proof of ownership.
