Police recover car stolen from civil servant at Kuje

The vehicle, with registration number EP 152 KRD, according to a police source, which was reported stolen at the Gwagwalada police station by the victim, was recovered at Dabi Village.
The victim, added the source, had earlier reported that a man came out of an uncompleted building into her car and pointed a gun at her, forced her out of the vehicle and drove the vehicle away. According to the source, the police immediately alerted their men at various check points to be on the lookout for the said vehicle.
“Our men posted to Kwali Expressway sighted the said car and chased it to Dabi village. In the process, the car was involved in an accident and the suspect escaped in the heat of the pandemonium,” the source said.
FCT police spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent Hyelhira Altine Daniel, confirmed the incident and advised residents to always be careful while driving. She said efforts are on to arrest the fleeing suspect.
