Kwara State police command yesterday paraded the nurse attendant and cleric allegedly involved in the sale of the placenta of a new born baby in the state.
The nurse attendant, Fatima Suleiman, of Agaka area of the metropolis, had said that the cleric asked her to get the placenta for him for money ritual.
In an interaction with the nurse attendant, she said she was a friend to the cleric’s wife and that he cleric asked her to get the placenta about two months ago.
Also speaking, the cleric, Salahudeen Ibrahim, said he inherited the ritual practice, adding that the nurse attendant approached him for the charm to enable her attract people’s favours in her dealings.
The police command also paraded 10 suspected members of a secret cult, including an alleged notorious cultist in the state, Bolakale Bayero.
