“My appeal is for us to come out and exercise our civic responsibility as citizens of this country . We need to cast our votes as any other person in the country,” he said.
He made the appeal during an interactive session between the media and faith based organisations organised by Beyond the Border of Disability Initiative (BBDI) and Cardinal Onaiyekan Foundation for Peace ( COFP) in Kaduna.
Six organisations were also awarded for engaging with persons with disabilities in their activities and for promoting peace in the state.

He explained that persons with disabilities are lovers of peace and that they love peace more than any other person because when there is a chaos in society they cannot run , they cannot see and cannot walk.
