PDP will reclaim power in 2019, says Oyedokun

Speaking to journalists shortly after their meeting in Gombe, Oyedokun said the PDP after the current exercise would re-strategize for 2019.
“We have the confidence that if you put it right you will get it right, PDP is not dead. PDP is still the best party, so we have the confidence of bouncing back again. We are here to consider and review what happened in the last general elections and why the party performed below expectation and also to proffer ways and means to improve on our performance next time,” he said.
He said at the end they would all assemble in Abuja for proper analysis and final recommendation to the party, adding that the exercise was in partnership with International Republican Institute which provides the technical support for the excise.
“We also talk about third parties in the election, INEC, observer on what they do right and wrong as well as security agents and the social media activities,” he said.
He further said that they would also go on for general observation which would include factors that mitigate against their success and to come out with recommendations for future elections.
