PDP chairman others defects to APC in Kebbi

The Peoples Democratic Party chairman in Augie Local Government Area of Kebbi State Alhaji Mohammed Musa Bayawa Augie has dumped the party to join the All Progressives Party (APC).

Others who also left the party were 150 members of the party in Maiyama local government area of Kebbi State.

While receiving the defected PDP members in Birnin Kebbi, the state chairman of the APC, Alhaji Sani Bala Kangiwa commended their decisions to join the ruling party and assured them that they would be treated fairly.

Kangiwa enjoined people of the state to give   more support and encouragement to ensure the success of the  administration.

In his response, the leader of the defectors , Mohammed Augie assured the party leaders of more support and commitment toward winning the elective positions for the APC in Kebbi State.

He said: “We left the PDP because it was not benefiting to us after 16 years of ruling the country.”
