The police in Ondo State have vowed to hunt down the killers of a herbalist who was murdered in Akoko area of the state last week.
Also, the killer of a 70-year-old woman, who was recently axed to death in Ugbe Akoko, Ondo State, is also being hunted.
The 36-year-old herbalist, Omotayo Omoakin, was gunned down last Friday in his house at Ifira Akoko, Akoko South-east Local Government.
A source in the neighbourhood of the slain herbalist said the victim received a phone call and went out to meet the callers, who shot him dead immediately.
The Divisional Police Officer in the town, Superintendent Olowoyo Akinbode, who visited the scene of the incident accompanied by his men, ordered that the corpse of the herbalist be taken to the morgue of the Ipe Akoko General Hospital.
Akinbode hinted that the case would be transferred to the State CID, Akure, for more investigation.
