Ona of Abaji lauds Aduda over Abuja tech varsity bill

Abuja University of Technology Abaji

The Ona of Abaji and chairman of the council of traditional rulers in the FCT, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, has commended Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, for facilitating the passage of the bill for the establishment of Abuja University of Technology Abaji (AUTA).

Alhaji Yunusa, while speaking with our reporter at his palace on Sunday, after he held a closed door meeting with some stakeholders, said God was beginning to answer his peoples’ prayers for the takeoff of the university in his chiefdom.

He said he was overwhelmed with the efforts of the senator representing the FCT for his  untiring efforts for the proposed university to get the nod of his colleagues at the National Assembly.

He added that efforts of Aduda to see that the Senate adopted the report for the establishment of the university had rekindled the hope of not only the people of the area but the entire territory, saying the varsity would create job opportunities for the youth and women whenever it commenced academic activities.

“The palace will also put in place a committee that will liaise with Senator Aduda himself, so that the people will be getting updates on how soon academic activities will take off at the university.

“But to crown it all, I and my members of the traditional council appreciate the effort of Senator Philip Aduda,” the Ona said.
