The Ogun State Government yesterday sealed four houses in Igbore and Isale-Ake in Abeokuta South Local Government Area over lack of toilet facilities.
Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Yetunde Dina, who led officials on inspection, told newsmen that the exercise was meant to curb open defecation in the state.
“The state government could no longer allow them to flout the earlier warnings for them to provide toilets, as it has been discovered that majority of their inhabitants, if not all are involved in open defecation,” she said.
