The remains of late Alhaji Hassn Lemu, the personal private secretary to the late Premier of Northern Nigeria, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardaunan Sokoto was laid to rest at the Kpakungu cemetery today.
The funeral prayer was also held earlier at the Minna central mosque.
The chief Imam of Minna, Alhaji Isah Fari led the funeral prayers, which was attended by deputy governor, Allhaji Ahmed Muhammad Ketso and other top government functionaries.
The traditional rulers were led by the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Faruk Bahago and Emir Agaie Alhaji Nuhu Yususf, while the Etsu Nupe Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar who was away oversea was represented.
The state government described the late Lemu as a man of integrity and an elder statesman who lived a fulfilled life.
