An 11 -year- old boy died in a fire incident that razed down a house on Friday afternoon at Zuba.
A resident of the area, Murtala Yahuza, said the incident happened at about 2:00p.m. when Muslim residents went to observe Friday Juma’at prayers.
Young Suleiman, who was said to be sick, was sleeping when the fire started. He said when the women in the house saw the fire they ran out to raise alarm.
He said the fire which cause was yet to be ascertained, razed down the house completely, trapping the sick 11- year-old boy inside one of the rooms.
He said some people rushed to the house with buckets of water to put out the fire and rescue the boy but to no avail.
