NASCO Jos polo tourney showcased Nigeria’s unity- Audu

The Group Corporate Communication and Compliance Advisor of NASCO Group Nigeria, Haroun Harry Audu has said the recently concluded NASCO polo tournament which attracted some of the finest polo clubs in the country showcased Nigeria’s unity in diversity.

Speaking on the tournament, he said over the past four decades and counting, NASCO Group has consistently sponsored and supported the game of polo in Nigeria.

Audu added that for the year 2018, NASCO Group had directly contributed to uplift and advance the status of the Jos Annual Polo Tournament, as its main sponsor thus far.

“The NASCO Groups sponsorship investments in 2018 have spanned direct deployment of financial resources to the tournament; purchase of trophies for all winning teams; rehabilitation and branding of the NASCO Grandstand/VIP Pavilion.

“We also undertook renovations of the horses stables; upgrade of the Games Scoreboard; beautification of the Jos Polo Clubhouse exterior, and most significantly, NASCO has undertaken a major restoration of the Hassan Usman Katsina Polo field, where all the games are being played.

“With this level of sponsorship backing by NASCO to Jos Polo Club therefore, the 2018 Jos Annual Polo Tournament which commenced on Thursday 27 December 2018 to January 2, 2019 was a huge success,” he stated.
