Nasarawa Gov–elect pledges support to NSUK

The governor-elect of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Alhaji Sule, has pledged to support Nasarawa State University, Keffi, to attain greater heights.

He gave the assurance when the acting Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, led the management to pay him a congratulatory visit.

“My administration will ensure that the state-owned university is supported to attain global recognition through collaboration with reputable international institutions. And I will continue from the gains already made by the administration of Governor Umaru Al-Makura and those before him.

“I am proud of the university; my dream is to see the university excel, so I will use my international connections to make it attain global recognition through exchange programmes with other international institutions,” he said.

The acting vice chancellor said the management, staff and students of the university want the governor-elect to address the numerous challenges that were constraining the university.
