Plateau United new signing, Mustapha Ibrahim ‘Yuga’ has promised to score more goals for the table toppers in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The former Enyimba FC striker scored Plateau United’s equaliser against Wikki Tourists for his first league goal of the season.
Abba Umar later scored the winner for the 2017 NPFL champions to maintain their 100 per cent run in the 2019 NPFL season.
Plateau United have won all three matches, 3-1 at home against Lobi Stars, 1-0 at Jigawa Golden Stars and Sunday’s 2-1 win over Wikki Tourists.
In a chat with Daily Trust yesterday, the member of Eagles Team B said he was not disturbed even when he didn’t score in his first two league games for Plateau United.
He said he was confident that he would score goals for his new club at the right time.
“I am happy to open my account. I will redouble my efforts in order to score more goals for Plateau United.
“We have so many good strikers in Plateau United. I may not play all the league matches but any time I get the opportunity, I will put it to good use.
“I am not setting any target but I am confident I will hit double digit,” he said.
