Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State and his Imo State counterpart, Rochas Okorocha, yesterday met with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The two governors met separately with the president at his office in the State House.
While Masari met the President between 2 and 4.pm. Okorocha left the Vila around 5.pm. Both of them left without speaking to State House Correspondents.
Daily Trust reports that in the last two weeks, governors had been meeting with the president over the controversies trailing the just concluded primaries of the APC in many states.
Okorocha, who is the chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, has been to the Villa three times. Twice he led some governors who were of the APC to meet the president over party primaries.
Also yesterday, Senator Abu Ibrahim (APC, Katsina South) and the APC governorship candidate in Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni separately met with the president.
Buni is the national secretary of the party and the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Yobe State.
Daily Trust reports that Buni and Abu Ibrahim also kept mum at the end of their meetings with the president.
