The executive committee of the Eti-Osa Lawyers’ Forum (ELF) has urged indigenes and residents of Eti-Osa and it environs to remain calm while awaiting a positive response from the State Government over their call for the name of the High/Magistrate Court in the area to be corrected from Ajah Badore to Eti-Osa.
Indigenes of Eti-Osa, under the umbrella of Eti-Osa Heritage Organisation and Eti-Osa Indigenous Students Association, had embarked on a peaceful protest along Ajah Addo Badore Road to call for the changing of the yet-to-be commissioned High/Magistrate Court, Ajah Badore to High/Magistrate Court, Eti-Osa.
Reacting to this agitation, the lawyers, led by their chairman, Barrister M. M. Danni, said that they have confidence in the Lagos State authorities to meet the desire of the community by effecting the correction, especially “because the creation of the court was initiated by the indigenes.”
