The Benue State House of Assembly yesterday resolved to investigate the financial activities of the Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC).
Speaker of the House, Terkimbi Ikyange, who announced the resolution of the assembly said that the investigation covers inception of the company as well as the activities of its current management led by Jack Mulya.
Mulya who is the Managing Director of BIPC was a member of the panel which indicted a former governor of the state, Gabriel Suswam and 52 others on the state finances between 2007 and 2015.
Mulya was appointed to oversee the BIPC after a panel set up by Governor Samuel Ortom on his assumption of office in 2015, headed by Justice Elizabeth Kpojime finished its work.
