Lafarge Africa has approved the payment of N1 dividend per share to its shareholders.
At its 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) held yesterday, the company’s CEO, Khaled El Dokani, said it recorded strong sales volumes and net income improvements and growth for the year ended December 31, 2019.
A statement by the company, indicated that it’s shareholders ratified the audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31st December 2019 and unanimously approved the payment of N1 dividend per share.
They also welcomed the incoming Chairman, Mr. Adebode Adefioye, and commended the outgoing Chairman, Mr. Mobolaji Balogun for his outstanding leadership over the years.
Balogun said Lafarge Africa has significantly strengthened its balance sheet and is now in a vantage position to face the future despite the current challenges brought on by the global pandemic- COVID-19.
