Tete, who was speaking when he and members of his cabinet visited Dafara community to interact with elders and village head of the area, said the council need to procure the machine to end the perennial water problem facing some communities in the area.
He said his administration’s desire was to ensure that the council provides viable projects that will have impact on the lives of people of the council, adding that the council will intensify effort to ensure that all the uncompleted projects that his administration inherited from his predecessor are completed.
According to him, since he was part and parcel of all the contracts awarded by the immediate past administration of Mr. Danladi Etsu Zhin, it has become imperative for the present administration to complete all the projects before embarking on the new ones.
The chairman assured the residents of Dafara community that the council has commenced arrangement to procure a new transformer for them in order to put an end to the power outage being experienced in the community.
He added that the council was also making arrangement to rehabilitate the Pasali-Lanto road, which he said, has become a nightmare to residents of the community, especially the farmers.
