Nigeria Professional Football League giants, Kano Pillars have continued with their preparation for the new season as they played and won two friendly matches yesterday.
The ‘masu gida’ boys who are presently camping in Kaduna defeated Kaduna Selected 6-3 in the morning and piped National League side, Green Beret 3-0 in the evening.
The matches played at the Ranchers Bees saw the technical crew led by Coach Ibrahim Musa giving the newly signed players the opportunity to blend.
One of the new boys, Kenneth Amia told Daily Trust that he is happy with the atmosphere in the camp of Kano Pillars.
He said even as he is a new player, the language of football is universal so it won’t take him too long to fully integrate himself.
“I may be new in Kano Pillars but football is easy to play especially when you are in the midst of good players.
“I think I have adjusted and it is not going to be too difficult. It is a gradual process.
“The warm reception from my team mates and the technical crew made things somehow easy for me,” he said.
Amia also said the test matches have helped the players to get in good shape for the kick-off of the 2019/2020 NPFL season.
