The governorship candidate of Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP) in Ogun State, Mr Adewale Omoniyi, has declared that he does not have a godfather in politics.
Speaking with newsmen in Lagos on his chances at the March 2 governorship election, Omoniyi said the people of the state have seen through all the governorship candidates and decided to settle for him.
According to him, almost all the candidates and parties had one godfather or the other pushing for them ahead of the poll except him, adding that though he had mentors guiding him, he would only be responsible and accountable to the people of Ogun State as governor.
The Data Scientist, while stating that his OGUN (Organise, Grow, Unite and Network) agenda for the state was an all-encompassing programme that would bring a new lease of life to the young and old in the state, also assured that his government would build an inclusive system of job creation and improved security, among others.
