Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State yesterday presented a budget estimate of N276. 82 billion to the state House of Assembly. The budget, tagged “Budget of Consolidation and Economic Stability”, is N85.9 billion or 44.99 per cent higer than the 2018 budget.
Okorocha said N224,641,699,522.00 was for capital expenditure; N62, 176,372,227.00, for recurrent.
The governor gave the projected recurrent revenue as N97, 690,048,847.00; and capital receipts, N179, 128,022,965.00.
