The Imo State House of Assembly yesterday summoned the state’s Accountant General, Casmir Ozuzu, and the Commissioner for Finance, Ugochi Nnanna-Okoro, over the financial position of the state.
This followed the adoption of a motion by member representing Nkwerre State Constituency, Chika Madumere.
The motion urged the house to cause the duo to appear and give account of the actual debt profile of the state since the governor had consistently said that the state was not indebted.
