I’ll run an inclusive government in Yobe — Amb Damagum

The governorship candidate of PDP in Yobe State, Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagun, said he is determined to run an inclusive government in the state.

Damagum, who stated that in an interview with newsmen in Damaturu, said the youths, Civil Society Organisations (CBOs), students, women groups and media would be among the stakeholders to take part in his administration.

“If voted as governor, I would provide the state with unified, accountable and transparent system of administration that extends political hand of operation to other parties,” he said.

He also promised that he would do his best to transform the state through provision of basic infrastructures that were needed in the state.

“Yobe people need a leader that appreciates the sufferings of the people and a government that will put Yobe back to its shape,” he noted.
