I’ll fight Boko Haram to the end – GOC 7 Div

The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Brig. Gen. Abdulmalik Bulama Big, has, vowed to ensure the end of the insurgency as his contribution to Nigeria.

“Even if it will be my only contribution to Borno State, my state, and Nigeria, my country, I will fight to the end of Boko Harsm insurgency,” Biu told his 1984 graduating set of the Government Secondary School, Biu Old Boys paid him a courtesy cweekend in Maiduguri.

“Ending the Boko Haram crisis during my time as GOC will, therefore, be my utmost contribution to Borno and Nigeria,” he stressed, appealing to classmates to help him succeed, saying, “the fight I am fighting is your (classmates) fight.,”

He said the army was more determined than ever before to end the menace of Boko Haram and tsecure Nigeria from any form of negative infiltration by terrorist elements.

Spokesman for the set, former Borno State Commissioner of Information, Mr. Inuwa Bwala, thanked the Nigerian Army for recognising the potentials of Gen. Bulama and appointing him to the position.

While presenting a plaque of honor to Biu on behalf of his colleagues, Bwala commended the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai, for sending one of his best to Maiduguri in the continued war against Boko Haram.
