Shehu Sani on Monday said he refused to shed tears while submitting his nomination form against the advice of his political friend.
The former Vice President Atiku Abubakar had wept over the challenges bedeviling the county as various groups bought and presented to him the expression of interest and nomination forms to contest presidency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019.
Sani in his tweet reveald,”A politician and a friend gave me a pepper and a Handkerchief to rub on my face so as to shed tears ‘on the plight of the masses’’when I’m collecting and submitting my nomination form.
“I politely turned him down.I told him that I’m an activist and not an actor”.
