Hajj: FCT secures visas for 2,095 pilgrims

A statement from the public relations officer of the Board, Muhammad Lawal Aliyu disclosed that the figure represents over 80 per cent of its total allocation for this year. He said the board is processing the remaining balance of 376 visas for its total allocation of 2471 seats for this year’s hajj by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria from the Saudi Arabian embassy.
The board said it has procured Yellow cards and passport attachments from relevant authorities, saying it has already commenced the process of acquiring Basic Travel Allowance (BTA) for its intending pilgrims.
