The APC Civic Support Group and the Nigerian Engineering Youth for Good Governance have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to give 40 per cent of ministerial slots to youths.
The groups, in conjunction with the Nigerian Labour Congress, Nigerian Youth Re-Orientation for True Democracy and the Not Too Young To Rule movement, also urged Senate President Ahmed Lawan and Speaker House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, to support their call.
They stated this at a news briefing in Kaduna, saying Buhari’s re-election should be a platform for youths to make their contribution in moving the country forward.
Engineer Adamu Suleiman Yakubu who spoke on behalf of the groups equally harped on the need for President Buhari to appoint technocrats to head engineering related ministries.
