Adamawa State governor, Muhammadu Jibrilla has cancelled the traditional Sallah homage.
A statement signed by the Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Ahmad Sajoh asked dignitaries to celebrate with their families.
The statement therefore urged Muslims to reflect on the significance of Eid-El-Kabir and pray for the progress of the country.
The long-standing Sallah homage allowed traditional rulers, organised groups and community leaders to visit the governor at the Government House.
