Three serving members of the House of Representatives from Gombe State have emerged winners of the APC primaries to re-contest and seek return to the house for the second time.
A member representing Dukku/Nafada federal constituency, Aishatu Jibril Dukku emerged winner to re-contest her seat at the lower chamber.
She scored 390 to defeat Jamilu Shabewa who got 191 votes, Mohammed Gambo Magaji 13 with 27 votes rendered invalid.
For the Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye constituency, a serving member, Yaya Bauchi Tongo scored 370 votes to defeat Mustapha Aliyu 254, Usman Aliyu Garry 194, Alhassan Kwami 81 and Umar Gombe 16.
The serving member for Yamaltu-Deba constituency, Yunusa Abubakar Ustaz scored 107 votes to narrowly defeated his rivals, Umar Shuaibu Galadima who scores 103 votes, Dr Habu Dahiru 3 and Dr Bature Gwani 14 votes.
Also, a onetime member of the House of Representatives, Usman Bello Kumo has emerged as winner for the Akko federal constituency.
He scored 160 votes to defeat Dattuwa Ali Kumo who got 84 votes, Umar Barambu 77, Umar Waziri Danrimi and Musa Wurobiriji scored 3 votes each, Mohammed Bello Santuraki got 2 votes with 8 votes as invalid.
Meanwhile, Simon Karu emerged winner to contest for Kaltungo/Shongom federal constituency under the APC. While Victor Mela Danzaria won the APC ticket to contest for Balanga/Billiri federal constituency.
